Smartphone apps are great but they will be even cooler if they were available on other platforms like your PC. You can already do this with android SDK, but it can be very complicated to get it setup and running.
A much easier way to get android in your PC is through an emulator called Bluestacks. Bluestacks not only emulates your android phone but it can also sync apps and sms messages with your actual androidphone.

After you had it installed it will ask you to enter your e-mail address and a phone number, then it will send you to an instructions on how to download Bluestacks and set it up in your phone for synchronization.
Now when its all set up, you can search for apps to install, and if your app require accelerometer to work, then you can use your keyboard to simulate tilting the device. If there is an app that is not available in the app store, you can download its apk file to your computer and right click on it and then open it with Blustacks application, then Bluestacks will install it for you.
If you want more of an android phone interface then you can install the adw launcher, then click on the home button and choose ADW. The launcher is also a neat little way to gain access to system settings and information.
The storage for Bluestacks is set to 2gb limit, fortunately the great hackers from the XDA forum had come up with a way to expand that limit up to 100gb just download and unzip the file. Then after exiting out of the Bluestacks program, go to your C drive. C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\Android and make a backup copy of SDCard.fs and then rename it to SDCard.ext3, then double click on resizesd.bat and select find file and find your SDCard.ext3 file, check the resize file only option and then use the slider to adjust the size when your done just click resize file and after that drag your SDCard.ext3 onto mke2fs.exe and then type Y for yes and then just hit enter, rename it back to SDCard.fs and then restart Blustacks. Drag down the status bar and you should see a new SD card, format it and then go back to your settings and check your file size.
Now you have successfuly converted your PC to fully compatible with android
